Tetra Pak to appear on Discovery channel
Tetra Pak will be featured on the Discovery Channel series How Do They Do It? across Europe, the Middle East and Africa starting 10th March.
How Do They Do It? looks at how everyday objects are created. Tetra Pak will feature in the sixth episode, which explores how Tetra Pak carton packages are produced. Last year some 137 billion Tetra Pak packages containing 70 billion litres of beverages were made.
The six minute segment showcases Tetra Pak's production and distribution processes, exploring the company’s pioneering roll fed filling system which preserves the nutritional value of milk and juice products. The programme charts the journey of Tetra Pak carton packages from a sustainable forest in Sweden to the Korsnäs board mill to an Arla dairy to the retail shelf.
