We extend into the Far East by opening a plant in Japan. The total annual production of Tetra Pak packages exceeds 10 billion units.

We make a debut in the People's Republic of China at the Peking Trade Fair and open a training centre in Nairobi, Kenya.

Tetra Pak Australia starts its own plant for packaging material.

1975 – Social programme in Iran

We sign a major contract with Iran within the framework of an extensive social programme highlighting protein supply.

The first field test for the Tetra King packaging system takes place in a small number of shops in the area in and around Lund, Sweden.
