The Australian Packaging Covenant (APC) is a commitment by industry and governments to the sustainable design, use and recovery of packaging. It is Australia’s way of managing the impacts of packaging and offers a highly efficient and collaborative solution.

Participation in, and contribution to the outcomes of the Australian Packaging Covenant is a natural inclusion in our environmental activities which are aimed at key environmental concerns of resource depletion, climate change and pollution.

The founder of Tetra Pak, Dr Ruben Rausing, believed “A package should save more than it costs”. This tenet continues to underpin the activities of Tetra Pak around the world and the complete systems for processing, packaging and distribution we offer our customers.
