Tetra Tebel Casomatic SC7
Cut water consumption by over 60%
The Tetra Tebel Casomatic SC7 module is setting new performance standards for the production of semi-hard cheese. Thanks to the base unit being constantly flushed with product, curd build-up is eliminated and the need for additional flushing with water is minimiszed. This results in an over 60% reduction of water consumption during production and cleaning compared to its predecessor. Since significantly less water is needed to flush the base unit, you also save on the time and energy required to separate or evaporate additional water from the whey.
What’s more, the amount of product waste left in the machine after production has been drastically reduced by over 90%, and the new technology also eliminates the need for lubrication of cylinder rods.
Over 90% less product waste
Tetra Tebel Casomatic SC7 is our new fully automatic and continuous system for whey drainage, pre-pressing, accurate cheese block formation and mould filling. The module drastically reduces the amount of product waste left in the machine after production by over 90%. Made possible through a combination of improved mechanical design and improved software, less curd left behind means less time and energy is needed for CIP cleaning.
And that’s not all. The new technology also cuts water consumption by over 60% and eliminates the need for lubrication of cylinder rods.
Tetra Therm MicroPart
Save €14,000 annually in energy costs
The Tetra Therm MicroPart range for the microparticulation of whey proteins, lowers your energy costs by 45%. That translates to a savings of approximately €14,000 annually compared to a competitor’s 2000-litre per hour installation. It also means an approximately 30% reduction in CO2 emissions.
In addition, the energy savings from running a product with a lower protein level during the ultra-filtration process can amount to €24,000 annually for the production of 20,000 tons of semi-hard or cheddar cheese.
