Carton packaging material

The total factory energy use was at a similar level in 2009 as in 2002, as can be seen in the chart to the left. This is a positive sign of decoupling resource use from business growth, since the number of delivered standard packages has increased 33% during the same time period.

The chart below shows that the the energy use per million standard packages (GJ/MSP) remained stable in 2009.
