iLine - a new generation of packaging solutions

Near the top of every customer’s wish-list you will always find the desire to reduce operating costs. Tetra Pak is addressing this need by introducing the new iLine solutions, designed to enhance the efficiency of current lines based on TBA/22, Tetra Pak A3/Speed, Tetra Pak A3/Flex. What’s more iLine solutions are integrated with distribution equipment specifically designed to match demanding new specifications for capacity, robustness and automation.

The first line introduced to the market under this new programme is the Tetra Pak A3/Speed iLine for portion packages: TBA 200 S, TBA 200 B, TBA 200 M, TBA 250 B, TBA 250 S.

Main benefits:

• Capacity: the capacity increases to 24,000 p/h.
• Complete line offer: the packaging line has been designed and validated to produce single packages and multipackages ready to be distributed in open tray or wraparound boxes.
• Line automation: thanks to innovations in line automation, the new packaging solution optimizes interaction between all components of the packaging line, improving its overall performance and ease of use
• Robustness: the improvements are ultimately geared to the line as a whole, so customers also benefit from improved line robustness.
• Compatibility with existing plants: the new Tetra Pak A3/Speed iLine offers selectable speed (16.000 – 20.000 – 24.000). In case of bottleneck in processing capacity, customers select the speed most suitable to the installation running in their own plant.
• Cost reduction: crucially, all of the improvements listed above contribute to reducing customers’ operating costs (10-15% vs TBA/22 line).
