Pete Behrends Memorial Scholarship

The Pete Behrends Memorial Scholarship is an annual award to qualified students who are pursuing a career in the cheese, whey powder or dairy powder industry.  One to two scholarships are available each year. The award can be used for any college educational expense.

Selection Criteria:

• South Dakota State University junior year student
• GPA 3.0 or higher at the time of application
• Must be in the food science, dairy science, electrical or mechnical engineering or a dairy-related program
• Available for a paid intership with Tetra Pak between junior and senior year of college
