Extended Shelf Life (ESL)
To get milk to be distributed under chilled condiitions but with Extended Shelf Life-ESL (typically 40 to 90 days) the conventional milk processing can be enlarged with further processing steps, such as microfiltration, bactofugation or high heat treatment. Each solution is unique and provides recognized value for the consumers.
