The Tetra Pak® Multi Section Extrusion Nozzle raises the bar for extruded ice cream shaping. This industry-first innovation enables easy, efficient and completely repeatable production of high-quality two-colour ice cream products with advanced shapes and patterns – and replaces today’s complex hose and clamp systems. The solution consists of two parts: a nozzle and a distributor with 12 (6 for each colour) flow channels and valves. To switch to a second product design, only the nozzle needs to be changed – the distributor remains in place. And as the nozzle is 3D printed, the solution is highly cost-efficient.
