Examples of our work

Making on-the-go water more sustainable

We worked closely with a start-up who wanted to change the perception of carton-packed water in Malaysia where PET bottles have been the standard for many years. Due to lacking recycling efforts, however, most of these bottles end up in landfills. The start-up wanted to inspire consumers to make a more sustainable water choice.

We helped the start-up with everything from business development to packaging design and marketing, explaining how to promote the new paper-based carton packages through a sustainability lens. The carton-packed water product is now available in premium supermarkets in the country and several companies have chosen to use them at their sites.

An integrated solution to reduce water usage and carbon emissions

In 2021, we launched our UHT 2.0 portfolio, which, combined with the Tetra Pak® E3/Speed Hyper, can offer customers significant sustainability benefits. The solution helps reduce GHG emissions and water usage while cutting operational costs by as much as 30%.

The UHT 2.0 portfolio is part of our ambition to reach net-zero emissions in our operations by 2030 and across the value chain by 2050. As a significant share of emissions comes from equipment operation, the solution is a key step in achieving our targets.
