Tetra Pak Indonesia won the Bronze award for the category Best Country Award for Overall CSR Excellence in Indonesia.

More than 200 companies were participating in this 10th Global CSR Summit & AwardsTM. The program recognizes and honors companies for outstanding, innovative and world-class products, services, projects and programs implemented in the past or present. 

These projects should demonstrate the company's leadership, sincerity and on-going commitment in incorporating ethical values, compliance with legal requirements, and respect for individuals, communities and the environment in the way they do business. 

This awarding event was held on 19 April 2018, together with The 10th Annual Global CSR Summit in the beautiful island of Lombok, Indonesia. 

The 2018 Global CSR Summit & AwardsTM invited some of the thought leaders of our time from various industries to share some of the most innovative ideas for environmental protection, community empowerment, gender equality and workplace diversity and food security that we can bring back to our workplace and communities. The theme for this 10th golden year event, "Rethinking CSR for the Next Decade", challenges us to reflect upon the journey that the CSR community has embarked over the past decade.

Develop Sustainable Products

Sustainable sourcing of paperboard by FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council ®). Tetra Pak is certified by FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) - paperboard certified - meaning that Tetra Pak carton packaging is made up of renewability materials that come from sustainably managed forests.

Environment in Innovation

Design for Environment, is the concept of systematic integration of environmental aspects into design and development. It aims to reduce a product's environmental impact across its life cycle. It will also help to create awareness and build knowledge about the environmental performance of Tetra Pak's products. 

Increase Recycling Value Chain

We act as catalysts in the recycling value chain to facilitate and support the establishment of sustainable recycling solutions.

Established collection infrastructure and expand market opportunities for recycled 

In creating UBC recycling value chain, we engage 4 collection partners to empower the informal sectors in serving UBC collection in Greater Jakarta, West Java, East Java, and Bali. We have 2 recycler partners in the innovation of UBC processing and recycled product application in Tangerang and Surabaya. Through Employee Engagement activities, Tetra Pak Indonesia's employee built a reading house in SDN 4 Dawunan Cirebon, using the material that made from recycled Tetra Pak cartons. 

Collaboration & Partnership

Tetra Pak Indonesia collaborated with stake holders, one of it is FSC Indonesia in an educational roadshow to the consumers/communities, especially youth generation, about the importance of choosing food and beverage product that use packaging derived from responsibly managed resources. 


"One Pack One Act for Our Society" program is the continuation of "One Pack One Act for Our Earth" program, as an activity in environment and recycling sustainability education of used beverage carton. In 2017, Tetra Pak has delivered environmental activities to 58 schools, with total 6,242 persons (4,623 students, 179 teachers, 918 parents, and 522 public).​

Consumers Awareness

In implementing how Tetra Pak supports the customer's sustainability programs, we are working collaboratively on some event, such as : Indomilk Go Green, Indomilk Pro-active kids, Ultra Milk in Clean Up Jabar Day, Hello Nature event with Sosro and Garuda Food, also Kalbe Junior Scientist Award.
