Through the One Second Action, Protect the Environment initiative, Tetra Pak works with communities to make carton collection a simple, everyday habit. From schools and workplaces to neighbourhood hubs and events, coordinated efforts keep cartons out of landfills and channel them into recycling, where they can be transformed into useful new products. The Earth is in an emergency…
Earth is enduring more than 1.3 billion tons of solid waste per year from cities all over the world, and it is expected to increase to approximately 2.2 tons per year by 2025. As the amount of waste continues to rise, sooner or later we will live on a landfill, where houses, streets, forests, sea water, and air,…will be drowned in rubbish. If we burn such a large amount of waste, it is even more polluting and we are going to breathe polluted air.
