Water in cartons from Tetra Pak makes it possible to reduce the amount of plastic waste on board when compared to using PET plastic bottles for water, as each carton contains 70% paperboard on average. Put more paper in your planes
Tetra Pak cartons contain an average of 70% paperboard, and all of this paperboard is FSC® certified. In addition to this, some of the plastics used are plant-based and BonSucro certified, and higher quantities of plant-based are available on request.
The total amount of renewable materials in the cartons is between 83% (Tetra Top 330) and 88% (Tetra Top 500), and they are fully recyclable as long as they are collected and disposed of in the right way.
Travel light
Tetra Pak lightweight packaging, efficient distribution techniques and space-saving storage attributes make our cartons the optimal package for carrying water in the air. The recently implemented tethered caps also mean that the caps remain attached to the packaging, meaning there are fewer individual parts which, in turn, makes it easier to tidy the plane between trips.
