Returning carton packaging for beverages and dairy products after consumption is now possible at selected locations in Bucharest and Brașov. The project, launched by Tetra Pak in collaboration with Mega Image, Maspex, Tomra, and Brai Cata, involves collection through reverse vending machines (RVMs) installed in selected Mega Image stores. For each returned package, consumers receive a voucher worth 0.5 RON.
1. What can you return?
All carton packaging for beverages and dairy products are accepted in the collection machines, regardless of the manufacturer, with a maximum volume of up to 2 liters. These must have been used for milk, plant-based drinks, juices, liquid cream, or whipping cream.
To be accepted for return, the packages must be empty of liquid, clean, not pressed or crushed, with a visible and readable barcode, and with the cap attached to the package.
2. Where can you return?
At this time, your packages can be returned at the following locations:

The stores where returns are accepted may change during the campaign. The campaign runs from November 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026.
3. What do you gain?
Each valid returned package generates a voucher worth 0.50 RON, which can be used at any checkout in the selected Mega Image stores during the validity period stated on the voucher. In addition, with every package collected, we help nature breathe a little easier.
