Quick facts

Tetra Pak® UF system P is a pre-engineered system for concentrating protein in milk and whey streams. It uses ultra-filtration, a membrane filtration process that concentrates milk or whey proteins in dairy streams, allowing processors to make value-added dairy products such as high-value protein concentrates that can be sold or used as an ingredient in more refined products. 

Capacities

Global version, except US:

  • 9k-34k kg/hr skim milk at 9.2% total solids
  • 6k-18k kg/hr sweet whey at 6% total solids

US version:

  • 75k-185k lbs/hr for skim milk at 9.2% total solids
  • 60k-125k lbs/hr for sweet whey at 6% total solids
