To inspire a creative and innovative mindset and to further build on our strengths, we’ve renewed and extended our collaboration with Lund University, a globally top-100 ranked institution, with disciplines including Science, Engineering, Economics and Management, Social Sciences, and Humanities. Together, we continue to explore future-focused solutions in areas such as food technology, packaging materials, and circular systems. By sharing knowledge and combining expertise, we work to ensure our place at the forefront of research and innovation so we can deliver solutions that not only meet the needs of our customers but drive their business forward.
How can better measurement help us design smarter, more energy‑efficient solutions? That question is at the heart of our next Science & Innovation Talk, taking place virtually and onsite at the Tetra Pak campus in Lund on 19 March.
This session brings together experts from Lund University’s Sentio and AdTherm competence centres and specialists from Tetra Pak to explore how new ways of measuring combined with advanced simulation models can transform our understanding of heat, flow and performance inside processing and packaging equipment.
Today, many of the most critical parts of our systems operate out of sight. It can be challenging to measure what happens on internal surfaces, deep inside pipes or in harsh environments without disrupting the process. Sentio’s research is changing that by developing next‑generation sensors that can withstand these conditions, capturing data more effectively than ever before.
AdTherm’s work complements this by creating high‑fidelity simulation models that help us interpret that data, understand heat transfer behaviour and identify opportunities to reduce energy use.
Together, these new capabilities will help Tetra Pak create more efficient, more sustainable and more cost‑effective solutions — from optimising heat exchangers and other equipment to improving process control and stability.
