When unopened, our aseptic cartons stay safe without refrigeration, which eliminates the need for chilled storage. This helps reduce carbon footprints and minimizes food waste, which, in turn, lowers greenhouse gas emissions.
Every Carton Counts
Tetra Pak® cartons are Forest Stewardship Council® certified*, made mainly from paperboard from responsibly managed forests and other controlled sources. Our equipment, processes, and innovative products are similarly focused on reducing environmental impacts.
*The FSC license code for Tetra Pak is FSC® C014047
An Eye on the Future
Many of our cartons are recycled to become paper products and building materials right here in the United States. And we’re happy to be part of the steady increase in access to carton recycling among the U.S. population.
Tetra Pak® Aseptic cartons are designed to save space and reduce weight, and can lower carbon footprints. Minimized delivery frequency can decrease CO2 emissions to the equivalent of 248 driving miles, and less waste can cut greenhouse gas emissions by 28.5%¹. Additionally, a 3% package-to-product weight ratio, and flat carton top and closure, makes pallet stacking and transportation more efficient.
