Tetra Pak® Bag Tipping Station is a powder handling solution that combines production efficiency, food safety, cost effectiveness and fit-for-purpose simplicity – in one compact machine. With its efficient dust control and ergonomic design, the machine contributes to a good working environment for operators. And as your needs can grow over time, so can the future-proof Tetra Pak® Bag Tipping Station – modules for automatic cutting and bag handling are, for example, easily added as you expand your operations.
Capacity:
For 25 kg to 50 kg powder bags.
Normal operation with one operator: up to 3,000 kg powder per hour.
Possible to boost to up to 6,000 kg per hour with specific configurations.
Applications:
All food powders, from basic to advanced requirements.
Magnet and vibrating sieve
The vibrating sifter minimises the risk of foreign bodies following the powder into the process area. The machine is designed according to EHEDG guidelines and is equipped with a vibrating sieve and a compact-sized, air-sealed magnet. The latter removes any ferrous particles from the powder.
Hygienic filter media
The highly hygienic filter media contributes to food safety by being optimised to release as little fibre as possible. Continuous dialogue with manufacturers ensures that the filter media always is the best the market can offer.
Magnet position and design
The magnet is carefully tried and tested to identify optimal magnetic force (gauss). Its position and design let you reduce use of rare-earth metals with up to 67%, compared to previous versions of bag tipping station magnets.
Wide sifter
The sifter is one metre wide, which equals high capacity – Tetra Pak® Bag Tipping Station is capable of handling 3,000 kg of powder per hour (or even up to 6,000 kg, with specific configurations), from bags up to 50 kg.
Optimised filter
Thanks to the optimised filter design, the consumption of compressed air can be reduced by 67% compared to previous bag tipping station versions.
Ergonomic design
The machine is designed according to the highest ergonomic standards, where heavy lifting and non-ergonomic work positions are minimised. The open design provides easy access for cleaning and maintenance.
Magnet and sifter on the same floor
The sifter and the magnet are placed at floor level, so there is no need to move between floors for inspection. This is not only convenient and time-saving – it also enhances operator safety.
Dust control
The design of the fan and filter provides efficient dust control, which in turn help protect operators from airborne dust.
Cost efficiency through modularity
The modular design offers full flexibility. You can start small and expand your bag tipping station as your needs grow – for example, add the automatic bag cutting module to reduce the running costs.
