Hanoi Department of Natural Resources and Environment is a specialized agency of the Hanoi City People's Committee, has a legal entity, has a stamp, and personal account according to the law’s regulations that it is under the direction and management about the organization, personnel, and operation of the Hanoi City People's Committee, simultaneously under the direction, guidance, inspection, and examination about the professional knowledge and specialist skills of Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. The Department has the function of advising and assisting the Hanoi City People's Committee in performing the State management about natural resources and the environment including land, water resources, mineral resources, geology, environment, hydrometeorology, climate change, survey and map, measurement and map; managing and organizing to implement public services in the field of the Department's scope and functions.
Hanoi Department of Education and Training was established according to Decision No. 34/QD-UB of Hanoi People's Committee on August 2nd, 2008. Performing the function for advising and assisting the City People's Committee on State management of education and training in the City according to the law’s regulations as assigned or authorized by the City People's Committee and Chairman of the City People's Committee.
Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City was established according to Decision No. 121/2003 / QD-UB of July 18th, 2003 of the City People's Committee based on Organizational structure of the cadastral field of the Lands and Housing Department and receiving organizations performing the function of State management about Water Resources, Mineral Resources and the Environment from Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Science - Technology and Environment, Department of Industry and Department of Transportation and Public Works.
Dong Tien Packaging and Paper Co., Ltd is one of the pioneers in the field of paper recycling in Vietnam. Proof of that decides to cooperate with Tetra Pak Company which is a company specializing in the world's largest beverage paper packaging, invested recycling line for paper milk cartons, and was synchronized in Vietnam in 2011. Accordingly, Dong Tien and Tetra Pak work together to implement a program to collect and recycle one hundred percent (100%) of milk cartons. The pulp is recovered from high-quality milk carton recycling that has been used to produce Testliner paper (two-skin paper) with a high-quality surface to produce high-quality carton boxes, and as for aluminum/plastic, it is made into "Eco Roofing", with a capacity of 500-600 sheets/day.
LAGOM was established in 2019 to specialize in the field of collection and recycling of waste into meaningful tools and toys.The company has implemented many activities such as instructing to classify milk cartons or plastic, organizing the collection, and gathering to handle and recycle garbage, etc.The company's goal is to expand the type of waste that can handle (milk cartons, plastic waste, organic waste,…etc.), expand collection areas (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and expand to the whole country), to many emission source owners (school, office, household waste, collecting station ...), and create products that are valuable to a wide range of customers (children, adults, schools, organizations, communities ..., etc.).
NHC - Journey to rescue Dead Waste is a project initiated by Revival Waste Social Enterprise in 2018 with the desire to form a network with a strong impact to contribute to solving the waste problems in Vietnam. As an Environmental Social Enterprise, Revival Waste aims to create an effective waste management cycle to recover, take advantage of recycled resources, and aim to a circular economy. By directly operating communications, carry out sorting and collecting activities based on connecting and mobilizing resources of waste source owners, recycling units, brands, NGOs, NPOs, governments, organizations, and communities.
The Association of Garbage was established by Buddhists of Thien Ton Phat Quang Buddhist Temple, (Ba Ria-Vung Tau), participated, and responded enthusiastically with various activities. The purpose of the Association makes pervasive love to garbage, share the basics of smart waste sorting, share the basic knowledge about the smart waste classification, and call on people that let’s use environmentally friendly products to keep the green of the earth.
