Sustainability is part of our corporate strategy. The Sustainability Forum defines our sustainability work and the areas that this work is focused on, which is ruled by the Strategy Council. The Forum has also been working on our 2030 Strategy, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, as well as the output of our materiality process will inform this. Our strategy will set ambitious new targets that build on our existing work and push us faster and further towards fulfilling our vision in a way that creates environmental, social and economic value.

We do this because we recognised, many years ago, that we can only create a more sustainable future by addressing the interconnected nature of the environmental, social and economic challenges we face. Working with our customers and partners to make food safe and available everywhere through our innovative and market-leading food processing and packaging solutions. Through this, we are making a direct contribution to SDGs 2 and 12.

We safeguard and empower our people, and are working towards greater diversity and inclusion. Our Code of Business Conduct has high standards for our own business and our suppliers, and we are making a direct contribution to SDGs 8 and 17.
