Melbourne, Australia – March 2026: Tetra Pak has expanded its packaging capability in Oceania as C4C Packaging brings the region’s first single‑serve wine format into production using the Tetra Prisma® Aseptic 250 ml Edge with DreamCap™ 26 Pro. This marks the first time DreamCap™ 26 Pro has been adopted in the region, introducing a new level of functionality, sustainability and convenience to portion‑pack (ready-to-drink) wine and low‑alcohol beverages.
The DreamCap™ 26 Pro is Tetra Pak’s latest opening solution, featuring a screw and flip tethered design that remains attached to the package after opening, supporting on-the-go use and reducing the risk of litter in line with global packaging trends. It uses renewable plant-based materials and is engineered for comfortable drinking with a 26 mm opening designed for smooth beverage flow.

As the industry moves towards responsible material choices and regulatory expectations for tethered caps increase worldwide, this opening provides a future-fit option for brands seeking to modernise their format.
By combining the Tetra Prisma® Aseptic’s distinctive multifaceted design with DreamCap™ 26 Pro, the portion pack offers premium portability and a strong branding canvas, creating new opportunities for wineries and RTD producers to diversify into lightweight formats where glass is impractical or restricted.

Boris Munster, Managing Director, Tetra Pak Oceania, comments: “C4C Packaging’s move into portion‑pack wine using Tetra Pak’s newest packaging technology represents an important advancement for the Australian wine and beverage sector. Consumer preferences in Australia — and around the world — continue to evolve, with rising demand for lighter wine styles, lower‑alcohol options and convenient formats that fit modern, on‑the‑go lifestyles.
Carton packaging is well positioned to meet these changing expectations, delivering both practicality and a more sustainable alternative. We continue to offer comprehensive processing and packaging systems that equip our customers with the capabilities they need as market conditions and consumer behaviours evolve, supporting innovation that contributes to a more resilient and accessible future for Australia’s beverage sector.”
Australian sustainability targets are accelerating the need for producers to adopt lower-emission packaging solutions. According to a 2026 Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for Beverage Packaging in Australia and New Zealand, cartons carry the lowest carbon footprint among major beverage packaging options, including aluminium pouches, PET and glass.
The assessment also found that around 98% of a package’s carbon footprint is generated before it reaches the shelf, combined with the renewable makeup of the DreamCap™ 26 Pro portion pack cartons are an increasingly attractive choice for brands expanding into new beverage categories and for producers looking to reduce their packaging footprint while improving convenience for consumers.
Western Australia is home to some of the most premium wine brands and high-quality food and beverage purveyors in the world. The new capability unlocked at the C4C Packaging facility represents a powerful pathway for other brands to diversify into new drinking formats without compromising product integrity. Cartons are well suited to portion‑pack wine and Ready-to-drink occasions, especially in places where glass is not permitted. Their light weight and compact format also make them advantageous for export channels and other distribution settings that prioritise efficiency.
Other wine and low-alcohol ready to drink (RTD) brands can explore co-packing their beverages at the C4C Packaging facility in Western Australia.
