We remain committed to driving more secure and sustainable food systems, while mitigating climate impacts and improving the livelihoods of people across the world. Discover more about our progress and achievements in FY24 in our latest report.
As an advanced manufacturer at the forefront of technology and innovation, we provide modern systems for food production and packaging that enhance food security, increase affordable access to food, and improve livelihoods and economies.
By collaborating with stakeholders across the value chain, including the public sector, the food industry, associations, customers, and suppliers, we collectively shape more sustainable, secure, equitable, and resilient global food systems for generations to come.
We take a holistic approach when it comes to circularity, from design to end-of-life. We design recyclable food packaging, increase the use of recycled and renewable materials, and expand collection and recycling to keep materials in use. Meanwhile, our equipment is designed to continuously improve our customers’ energy, material and water efficiency. It is built for ongoing upgrades and refurbishments, ensuring its lifetime can be further extended and its performance enhanced.
The food industry has a crucial role to play in mitigating climate change. That’s why we’re engaged in decarbonisation efforts and initiatives on a broad scale. This means taking action to minimise carbon emissions from our own operations and products, and from our value chain.
Food systems are highly dependent on nature. We are reducing the impact on nature of our own operations and our value chain, in collaboration with customers and suppliers, helping to strengthen water resilience while restoring and maintaining natural landscapes and biodiversity.
We strive to improve the livelihoods of people across the world by giving access to safe food; contributing to economic growth; and respecting human rights in our workplaces, our value chain, and the communities we operate in.

Our advanced food and beverage processing and packaging solutions could help to lower food waste and water use. If this potential is unlocked globally, it could make an even greater contribution to global emissions reduction targets.
The Tetra Pak Industrial Protein Mixer reduces waste and inefficiencies in mixing powder protein, creating cost savings for customers and improving product quality while also lowering environmental impact.
In partnership with Lactogal, we’ve created a package that can be distributed under ambient conditions, while hitting the 90% renewable content mark. Made with approximately 80% paperboard, the package also reduces its carbon footprint by up to 33%.
We have a long history designing and manufacturing Tubular Heat Exchangers1 and are constantly seeking new ways to improve their performance for our customers.
1 Tubular Heat Exchangers’ role in dairy and food processing is to transfer heat between fluids during processes such as pasteurization and UHT treatment.
We leveraged our technological, engineering and project management expertise to help one of our large dairy processing customers, Fonterra Co-operative, to meet new wastewater environmental standards.
We further increased initiatives to improve the lives of informal waste collection workers in Vietnam, Brazil, India, Colombia and Egypt. In each case, we worked with expert organisation to ensure the support we provide is tailored to the local needs of the workers.
Each year, we recognise one of our suppliers in the JUIPP initiative for its leadership in sustainability. The winner of the 2024 Supplier Sustainability Award was presented it due to its holistic sustainability strategy, including an SBTi approved net-zero target.
