Ice cream may be rooted in tradition, but expectations continue to evolve. That's why it's worth looking beyond what's inside the wrapper. Made from up to 85% paper, Tetra Pak® Ice Cream Wrap helps your products stand out in retail while delivering the protection needed throughout the cold chain2. And because it runs on existing production lines3, you can introduce a new packaging option without disrupting operations.
Sourced from FSC™-certified forests and other controlled sources7, Tetra Pak®Ice Cream Wrap is made from up to 85% paper1 and can be recycled where appropriate collection, sorting and recycling infrastructure is in place8.
Packaging shapes first impressions long before the first bite. As brands look for new ways to create value, paper packaging is becoming an increasingly important point of differentiation. Tetra Pak® Ice Cream Wrap combines the familiar look and feel of paper with the functionality needed for ice cream products, helping your brand create a distinctive experience for consumers.
Great ice cream deserves reliable protection. Manufactured in compliance with EU and US FDA food safety standards9, Tetra Pak® Ice Cream Wrap helps safeguard product quality throughout the supply chain2, from the factory floor to the final bite.
Introducing a new wrapping solution shouldn't add complexity. Designed and validated for use with selected Tetra Pak® Multilane Wrapper systems, our ice cream wrap can be integrated through an upgrade kit that helps minimise downtime and keep operations running efficiently.*

At just 53 gsm, Tetra Pak® Ice Cream Wrap is up to 50% thinner than alternative paper-based solutions. This helps you maintain the same pack count in your secondary packaging10 while supporting a compact pack format and consistent line operation.
Innovation doesn't happen in isolation. With more than 70 years of experience in paper-based food packaging, we help ice cream producers bring new packaging ideas to market while maintaining the reliability their operations depend on.

10 At 53 GSM, the profile of Tetra Pak® Ice Cream Wrap is up to 50% thinner than selected paper-based alternatives. Tetra Pak® validation and analysis during internal testing, 2022-2026, in comparison with selected thicker paper-based wrap alternatives. The thickness of all materials considered in the analysis ranged between 60 to 100 GSM, confirming Tetra Pak® Ice Cream Wrap as thinner than other available materials known to us at the time of writing, at nearly half the thickness of the thickest materials that was considered during testing. Thicker paper-based wrap alternatives tend to be stiffer, leading to individual ice cream products taking up more space in the secondary packaging. As a result, it can be difficult to fit the same number of products when switching from plastic-based wraps, necessitating a new secondary packaging. The thinner material of Tetra Pak® Ice Cream Wrap will generally allow the use of the same secondary packaging already used today.
