To inspire a creative and innovative mindset and to further build on our strengths, we’ve renewed and extended our collaboration with Lund University, a globally top-100 ranked institution in disciplines including the Humanities, Technical Sciences and Social Sciences. Together we will continue exploring future-focused solutions in areas such as food technology, packaging materials, and circular systems. By sharing knowledge and combining expertise, we work to ensure our place at the forefront of research and innovation so we can deliver solutions that not only meet the needs of our customers but drive their business forward.
At the Humanities Lab at Lund University, researchers explore this question using tools like motion capture, eye tracking, and virtual reality.
These technologies present exciting possibilities. For example, motion capture can help us analyse how operators interact with the equipment, leading to more ergonomic and efficient designs that can improve co-worker health and well-being while reducing operational expenses and resource use. On the marketing side, eye tracking can reveal how consumers perceive packaging on supermarket shelves or how operators navigate our software interfaces. Insights like these can drive smarter, more user-friendly solutions that can streamline production, improve profitability and enhance growth for our customers.
The Humanities Lab at Lund University is a cross-disciplinary research infrastructure that brings together expertise from the humanities, social sciences, and technology. During this edition of the Science and Innovation Talks, researchers from this department will showcase how their work can be applied to real-world challenges in our industry. Tetra Pak speakers will also share how these insights can be translated into tangible benefits for our products, and ultimately our customers.
