Enables carbonation

A deaerator is a needed in order to carbonate a product. Our deaerator uses a packed bed solution - unlike traditional models that circulate water over a double vessel vacuum system. This eliminates the need for a further pump for circulation and gas injection in order to reach the required oxygen content.

How do you make sure the bubbles in your carbonated product don’t disappear? Maintaining the product under high pressure in the pressurized tank ensures that the carbon dioxide – which is dissolved in the product – does not disperse into the air. This tank also doubles up as a buffer tank and holds product safely during filling machine downtime.

AMC is the software that controls the amount of ingredients being added to Tetra Pak® In-line Blender B, and ensures that the outgoing Brix level is correct throughout its run time. At the start, when the Brix values of added ingredients such as syrup and concentrate are known, the amount required in each ingredient stream is calculated. If the amount added during production differs from this, the AMC instantly corrects it. Since checks occur 4-5 times per second, you can rest assured your process is on target.

Reduces water consumption

With the help of a built-in eco vacuum pump, the deaerator system works at very low pressure to reduce oxygen levels down to 0.5 ppm. Through the reuse of seal water, it successfully reduces the equipment’s water consumption to just 600l/h.
