The 31st session of the Conference of the Parties (COP31) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is taking place in Antalya, Türkiye, from 9-20 November 2026.

COP31 aims to accelerate the implementation of climate action and bring together governments, businesses, civil society and international organisations to advance practical solutions to the climate challenge.

As we have in previous years, we are participating as part of our ongoing commitment to build more resilient food systems that contribute to climate action through resource efficiency across the value chain.

Food Systems Summit

As the global climate agenda shifts from ambition to implementation, the critical middle of food systems is gaining recognition as a key area for accelerating climate resilience, resource efficiency and sustainable growth.

This is because the processing, packaging, logistics, cold-chain and distribution activities that define the critical middle, connecting producers to markets and consumers, are where a significant share of resource and efficiency decisions are made.

Strengthening this part of the value chain can play an important role in reducing food loss and waste, improving resilience and supporting climate-smart industrial development.

Join us and external stakeholders for a Tetra Pak-hosted discussion on how policy, finance and infrastructure can help unlock investment, innovation and practical solutions across the critical middle of food systems.

Date & Time: Friday, 13 November, 13:00-16:00 TRT
Organizer: Tetra Pak
Venue: Swedish Pavilion, Blue Zone, COP31

The session will bring together policymakers, financial institutions, industry leaders and implementation partners to explore practical actions, investment pathways and partnerships that can help strengthen food systems while advancing climate and circular economy objectives.
