We’ve Got Your Back campaign launches in Pakistan

Tetra Pak Pakistan has launched the global We’ve Got Your Back occupational health and safety campaign, with employees coming together to focus on back health, safe movement and wellbeing. The campaign kicked off with a practical session on office ergonomics, held in the Lahore factory and the head office. The sessions aimed at raising awareness helping employees understand how small changes to their workstation setup can make a meaningful difference to comfort and long-term musculoskeletal health. Baqar Raza, HR Country Manager Pakistan welcomed the participants and introduced the topic to the audience.

Physiotherapist Dr Zohaib Rana joined the session to share practical advice on setting up a workstation correctly, maintaining good posture and reducing strain during the working day. The sessions attracted strong participation, with employees actively engaging and asking questions throughout. “Good ergonomics is not about making big changes. It is about making small, practical adjustments that support your body throughout the working day. Taking a few minutes to set up your workstation properly and remembering to move regularly can go a long way towards reducing discomfort and supporting long-term musculoskeletal health,” said Dr Zohaib Rana, physiotherapist.

“For many of us, spending long hours at a desk is part of everyday work. An unsuitable workstation setup can contribute to discomfort, fatigue and strain in the neck, back, shoulders and wrists. Simple adjustments to seating, screen position and working posture can help reduce these risks,” he added. The ergonomics session was the first step in a wider campaign running from 8 September to 8 October, bringing together practical guidance, resources and activities to encourage healthier and safer habits both at work and beyond. A key part of this year's campaign is Every Move Matters, a global movement challenge running from 10 September to 7 October. Employees can join a team, earn points through physical activity and help their business unit progress along a virtual route around the world. Whether it is walking, running, cycling, swimming, stretching, gardening or taking part in a favourite sport, every move counts.

The challenge encourages everyone to build more movement into their everyday routines and recognise the positive impact it can have on physical health and wellbeing. The campaign will also focus on another important aspect of musculoskeletal health: safe lifting and handling. Planning, positioning and using the right techniques can help reduce strain and prevent injuries, whether working in the office, on site or elsewhere.
