Tetra Pak and Faundit launch circular bird feeder made from recycled beverage cartons
Oosterhout, 7th November, 2025 – From sparrows to blue tits, more than two hundred bird species nest in the Netherlands every year. Now, they can be fed in a more sustainable way. Faundit is launchign a new circular bird feeder made from recycled Tetra Pak beverage cartons, available exclusively at Action. The product shows how used beverage cartons can find a second life in nature.
A typical beverage carton consists of 75% paper, 21% polymers and 4% aluminum, with the paper sourced from responsibly managed, FSC™-certified forests. In the new bird feeder, the polymer and aluminum layers are given a second life. Together, Tetra Pak and Faundit show how every part of a beverage carton can regain value within a circular economy.

Made by Palurec material, recycled from Tetra Pak beverage cartons, it is also sustainable and meets high safety standers. As a result, it also contributes to closing the circular loop. It shows that materials from recycled sources can become meaningful, everyday products.”
