Tetra Pak® Screw Conveyor ET

Built to increase production efficiency, the Tetra Pak® Screw Conveyor ET conveys and doses dry products – granulated or powdered ingredients – in the food industry. It is robust and ensures accurate dosing. Constructed of stainless steel, the design is very hygienic with high quality surface finishing. Pressurized air makes sure now powder enters the bearings and a sanitary gap between the motor and bearing unit prevents product from oil contamination.

Improved maintenance ergonomic and safety are available for this device.

Powders separated from bearings

The machine is manufactured in stainless steel, and conveys or doses powders over short distances (up to 4 metres). Pressurized air around the bearings creates a gap and ensures that no powder enters the bearings. Another sanitary gap is found between the motor and the bearings. This prevents the product from lubricant contamination.

Thanks to its quick-coupling shaft design, the Tetra Pak® Screw Conveyor ET is easy to install and dismantle. This also means it’s easy to clean.

For dosing applications, the gear motor can be connected to a frequency inverter to fine-adjust the dosing speed.

Regulated flow and high quality

The screw pitch is specifically designed to both regulate the flow and avoid product compression while also ensuring accuracy in dosing applications. The outflow capacity is up to 53 m3/h. Automatic and continuous welding of the screw conveyor blades on both sides ensures a consistently high quality.
