Tetra Rex® Plant-based is manufactured solely from a combination of plastics derived from sugar cane and paperboard. The plant-based plastics used by Tetra Pak are produced by Brazilian chemical company, Braskem, which sources all of its feedstock from sugar cane.
Tetra Rex Plant-based is available in a range of sizes, from 250 ml to 2000 ml, for all chilled milk specifications.
Tetra Rex® Plant-based, the world’s first fully renewable package, is available with the Tetra Pak® Craft packaging material effect, further enhancing its distinctiveness on the shelf.
Our Tetra Rex filling machines give producers years of safe, problem free production.
This is also one of the safest packaging systems on the market. A patented folding process prevents products coming in contact with the raw edge of the paperboard and four different material combinations provide the optimum safety barriers for all kinds of chilled products.

We offer four different material combinations to provide barriers for all your products. All our paperboard comes from wood from forests certified to Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC™) and other controlled sources. The FSC license code for Tetra Pak is FSC™ C014047. And you can select from three printing methods: offset, flexo process and flexographic print.
