Spreading the word: ‘Protects What’s Good’ with Tetra Pak

I was really glad when I found online that Tetra Pak, the world’s leading food processing and packaging solutions company, was organizing the ‘Protects What’s Good’ event last month at Myanmar Culture Valley. Great opportunity to help me learn more about health and safety!
Protecting your health with safe food
Going through the exhibition and game booths at Tetra Pak corner, I have learnt that Tetra Pak provides safe, innovative, and environmentally sound products that meet the needs of millions of people around the world. Their brand promise - “Protects What’s good “means that Tetra Pak protects food, people and futures. Moreover, Tetra Pak’s UHT carton is made of six layers, with 75% of paper and 25% of polyethylene and aluminum foil. The combination of UHT technology and the six layers carton packaging helps to protect beverages from heat, humidity and light, preserving all nutrition, including vitamins A, B2, B6, B12, C, and K which are sensitive to light. They also have a long shelf-life making them easy to store during rainy or hot season, almost around the corner.
Hearing voices, making the right choice
Caring about food safety, several renowned celebrities Chit Thu Wai, Thet Mon Myint, Melody, Paing Phyo Thu, Paing Zay Htun and his wife, Zin Thae Naing, and Thar Nge attended the event to voice their support on Ultra High Temperature (UHT) milk products in cartons. Chit Thu Wai, an actress, a doctor, and a mother understands the importance of safe food safety for children’s health. At the panel discussion, she unveiled her trust and confidence on Tetra Pak, who is the pioneer of UHT technology that keeps milk products safe for months with no preservatives. The nutritionist Dr. Daw Win Win M yint and Tetra Pak Key Account Director, Mr. CC Tang also shared knowledge about food safety and how UHT milk products packaged in Tetra Pak cartons are the safe choice available, everywhere in the country. Hearing useful information from experts and those celebs, certainly help me making for the right choice!

Walking around the event the leading Myanmar brands including Vito, MILO, Dutch Mill, Chokchai Farm, Ovaltine, Lactasoy, Abevia, PEP, Marigold and Cowhead were taking part to engage me and other consumers with fun and educational activities. all the samples of these UHT milk products were distributed throughout the day and proof that UHT process and package not only protect the food quality but also the color, smell, and taste!
