Features

Differential speed

Differential speed

Optimise yield and product quality

The differential speed between the high speed rotating bowl and the screw conveyor makes the decanting process highly efficient. The speed difference between the bowl and the conveyor is typically 2-7 rpm. It also lets you adjust the amount of sedimentation in your liquid base to fine tune the quality and characteristics of the liquid base and your yield.

Hygienic design

Hygienic design

Highest standards of cleanability

The decanter is designed to meet the highest industry standards of cleanability with cleaning-in-place (CIP) cleaning devices, CIP spray balls and SaniRibs® on the inner walls of decanter bowl. SaniRibs® eliminate crevices under traditional spot-welded transportation aids. This special design minimises the risk of bacterial growth and enable fast and easy cleaning while ensuring maximum hygiene and high performance.

Pressurised discharge

Pressurised discharge

Secures food safety and quality

The pressurised discharge of the liquid phase minimises foam in the product base and keeps the amount of air in the formulation phase to an absolute minimum. Air in the product can lead to foaming, make it harder to incorporate powder ingredients and lead to increased oxidation and fouling in further processing steps. The pressurised discharge of the liquid secures food safety and product quality.
