About Food for Development

Our Food for Development Office works with a variety of partners to initiate, promote and support school milk and school feeding programmes across the globe. Together with our sister company DeLaval, we work with agricultural and dairy development projects addressing the entire food value chain from “cow to consumer”.

We work with partners in promoting the development of alternative products to milk for use in school feeding programmes in areas where milk is not available.

We believe that the best way to promote sustainable social and economic development is by building strong partnerships between the private and public sector. We work with governments, NGOs, international organisations, development agencies and industry at local and global level.

Global presence

Our Food for Development Office consists of a core team in Stockholm and a network of colleagues spread around the world.

We have specialists located in Asia, Sub-Sahara Africa, and the Middle East. There are FfD (Food for Development) representatives at most of Tetra Pak’s market companies around the world.
