Vision system
Caps always accurately positioned
The positioning of the hole (as opposed to the package itself) is captured by a camera in the machine, which ensures a highly precise cap application. Cap holders are designed to move independently from one another for even greater accuracy. This feature is standard for TPA and TGA lines and unavailable for ReCap and SlimCap lines.

Enables smooth high speed application of screw caps
The higher the speed of the machine, the more accurately it needs to function. In this case, the application of hot melt is synchronised by a servo drive. Thanks to its precise, smooth movements, the number of defects and spills is minimised. (For screw cap application)

Enabling operators to work swiftly and efficiently
Several factors contribute to the easy operation of this cap applicator: the Tetra Pak Operator Panel with its intuitive touch screen interface; ground level access to essential working parts; large windows through which operators can observe operations at first hand.
Auto-eject function
Ensures delivery of easy-to-open packages
The auto-eject function measures and calculates whether or not the screw cap is positioned correctly on the package. If it detects an incorrectly positioned cap, the package is automatically ejected from the line.
Flow principle
High output of on-target packages
Packages pass through the machine in a straight line without stopping or changing direction. This results in a swift but gentle handling and good package shape. Caps are applied in line as they pass through the machine which ensures accurate positioning.
