Intelligent event-based sampling
Flexibly configure sampling according to need
Advanced software diagnoses each packaging event type using one of up to eight pre-programmed sampling plans. Each plan then selects the appropriate package quantity for each event. This minimises waste and allows food producers to customise quality sampling to need.
High-precision package gap detection
Recognises the right package every time
Embedded software in the sampler and filler detects each specific pack earmarked for quality control, even when there is no gap in the conveyor flow. This enables ultra-precise selection down to 3mm between packs – or even zero, depending on the model. This precision is unrivalled by any conventional alternative.
Two modes of package picking
Eject all package types effectively
Either linear motor-driven fingers or pneumatic air jets remove selected packages from the line. The choice depends on package size and format. Fingers are ideal for heavy family packs; air jets are sufficient for portion packs. Response times are ultra-fast: 30 milliseconds for air-push and 42 milliseconds for linear fingers.
On-pack event printing
No more missed packages
The filler’s printer prints an event ID and counter on packages selected for quality control. No extra printer is needed. This information helps lab technicians perform quality checks correctly and avoids the risk of filler operators missing sample packages.

Compact design with small footprint
This entry-level unit for automated package selection has a compact footprint and comes at a low cost. It uses pneumatic-push package selection and is calibration-free. It is suitable for all Tetra Pak® aseptic filling machine speeds. Hourly capacity of up to 40,000 portion packs and up to 15,000 family packs.
Tetra Pak® Package Selector Multi 0100
Retains package shape and form during sampling
This high-performance unit for automated package selection keeps packages intact, avoiding dents and scratches. It groups packages belonging to the same event, is calibration-free and has a flexible footprint. It is suitable for flex and speed filling machines. Hourly capacity of up to 24,000 portion packs and up to 15,000 family packs.
Tetra Pak® Package Selector Rapid 0100
Retains portion pack shape and form during sampling
This high-speed unit for portion pack quality control detects packages even with a zero gap between them. It groups packages from the same event and has a flexible footprint. It uses pneumatic-push package selection and keeps selected packages upright even at high speed. Hourly capacity of up to 40,000 portion packs.
