Hygienic design
Meets sanitary design standards
The Tetra Pak® Powder Feeder DN061 is manufactured from stainless steel to meet sanitary and hygiene design standards. Thanks to the concept with pressurized bearings, no powder enters the bearings unit. The swiveling hinge for motor disassembly facilitates maintenance and cleaning. And, as there is a sanitary gap between the motor and bearing unit, there is no product contamination from lubricant.
Regulated flow
Accurate powder dosing
A screw pitch regulates the flow to ensure accurate dosing, while the blade prevents powder from vaulting inside the hopper or bag-tipping unit and guarantees a constant and uniform density of powder feeding the screw. The screw is actuated by a synchronous direct-coupling gear motor controlled by PID. Depending on product, the accuracy can go down to +/- 15 grams.
